Two brothers, one table
Ìsula is the banqueting of the Finocchiaro brothers, bringing together Daniele's dining room and Dario's kitchen. We welcome you at Dòmini, in Acireale, and we come to you wherever you wish to celebrate.

Daniele Finocchiaro
Front of house
In June 2025 Daniele opened Dòmini on Piazza San Domenico, in Acireale, a few steps from Palazzo Musmeci and the Church of San Domenico.
As host he looks after the dining room, the welcome, the service and the rhythm of an evening. With Ìsula he brings the same care to your receptions.

Dario Finocchiaro
The kitchen
Dario is the chef. In Acireale many have already come to know his cooking at I Cavaddari, where he still cooks today.
With Ìsula he brings it to receptions, with land and sea menus designed so that every dish reaches the table as it should, even for large numbers of guests.
Piazza San Domenico
We welcome you by appointment at Dòmini, Piazza San Domenico 5, Acireale, between the Church of San Domenico and Palazzo Musmeci. There you will tell us about your reception and we will choose the menu together.
The reception itself takes place at the venue of your choice, in Catania and anywhere in its province.

The origin of the name
In Sicilian, ìsula means island. It comes from the Latin insula, which in ancient Rome also meant the large buildings where many families lived together, while the domus was the house of a single family.
Dòmini carries the domus, the house of one family, in its name. Ìsula carries the insula, where people gather to share the moments that matter. And in Sicilian ìsula is the island, Sicily itself.
Our menus, too, are named after the islands of Panarea, Isola Bella, Favignana, Salina and Lampedusa.
